Crystal Lake

I have been bored and bored during summer vacation. Actually, I am taking one class, Writing 101, but I have no class from Friday to Sunday.I was looking for fun place. So, my friends and I went to Crystal Lake located at 505 W.Stoughton, Urbana. I think that Crystal Lake is one of the great parks here.

My friends and I had a good time with barbecue party. We ate some meats and sandwiches that we made with sausages and vegetables. Also, we played Frisebee and played small basketball game, which made us exited. Also, we could fish at the lake, but we don't have fishing license. I had really good time with nature. 

Actually, I would just stay at home. I recognized that exercising is really fun and helpful to my healthy. I decide to go Crystal Lake and exercise per week. I also recommend you to enjoy at this park. 

Just our summer vacation left a few weeks. We should enjoy many things..!!! 

Center for Academic Success

I like “Center for Academic Success” at D 120.

I’d likely to recommend the place where you can get help about your study at Parkland College. If you can’t follow

 your class or can’t understand your study, feel free to come here. There are too many things waiting for you. Like below picture, there are peer tutoring and writing lab for academic development.

When I came at Parkland College at the first time, I was afraid of doing homework and writing assignment. My friend recommended this place and this place really was helpful to me. Peer tutoring is that if you can’t solve some problem at a class, current students who have already taken the class will help you to solve the problem. In my experience, I have some problem in making project at the computer class. I went to here and asked some students who have already learned this class. They and I considered what is wrong with my project together, which was really easy to find my problem. They are not a professor, just student who have learned same class. So, we can easily access to them and they can also understand what I am asking. In addition to the computer class tutoring, there are accounting, math, chemistry, etc.  How can you receive tutoring? You can just go there and you can find schedule sheet on the wall. At the time when is scheduled, you can come here with having your questions.

I have been also going Writing lab for my writing class. I was really happy to know the place. Actually, I am not good at writing in English. So, before submitting assignment for writing class, I often dropped by here for receiving advice. It gave me higher grade in writing class, and chance to improve writing ability. There is a writing professor, rotated per hour.  If you want to receive tutor from specific professor, you can check a schedule sheet that indicates who comes at specific time. I strongly recommend you the helpful place for developing your academic.
