To Be a Parkland Student !!

Here are some TIPs which are how to apply!!!
(Especially these tips are only for international student.)

First, you will go to international student services center.
The room number is A184-6. You have to apply in here.
There are really nice counselors. They can help you every things.

Second, you have to go to assessment center.
It is on the second floor. This place is to take a placement test.
Placement test has three sections which are reading, listening and grammar.
If you pass the test, there is a writing sample test. And if you want to take math classes, you need to take a math test, too.
In my experience, the grammar section is really tough.
There is one special tip, if you have a TOEFL score above 60 or U of I PBT above 500, then you don't need to take a placement test. This is really great deal.

Last, you have to go to advising center for register your classes.
This is located on A251. It is near by the assessment center.
There are really great advisors. KIND AWESOME WONDERFUL
When I went there first time, the advisor said many things about study, Parkland college, even Champaign life. It was really helpful for me.

How about my tips??
Isn't it easy to be a Parkland student??
